I begin on computer in Secondary School 1 and that is about 8 years ago. Until today, I had completed about 700 games including Ultima 7, Phantasmagoria, Command and Conquer and other old ones like King Quest V, Magic Candle, Bubble Bobble and Heavy Barrel. See the Hall of Fame for a list of games I completed. I crack about 200 games and built about 150 cheats for them. All these are included in Hacktool, a software package I wrote some years ago. This software has several version and the lastest is Hacktool 4000 for Windows dated Aug 1995. The software has stopped production due to lack on time on my part and also there are some legal complications.
I wrote several other software like Filebase 2000, a database utility with a modified Quicksort written by me, and Quickview 2000, a powerful View and print program in the last 5 years. But, one of my proudest creation was Star Guide 2000. It was my 'A' Level project back in 1993. I completed the Shareware version and got a good grade for it. One company actually approach me to make a CD-Rom version then, but I had to turn down the offer because of National Service.
I am not very professional in any particular language, but I am able to write in C, Pascal, Assembly and Basic. But my favorite is Visual Basic, which is what I wrote my Star Guide 2000 in.
In 1996 Christmas, I worked on a X'mas Card Engine originally for a local computer software company but eventually the project was not make used of and I incoporated it into my own web page which I called EXC ( Electronic X'mas Card ). In the short 1 month that it was launch on operation, it delivered 564 cards in total to many countries over over the world including UK, Japan, USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Korea.
My first contact with real industrial experience happen during my term in May-Oct 98 where I work for Creative Technology Singapore developing an online registration system for them. For there I gain quite some knowledge of how computer industrial and their programming style and method. It was there where I got my first exoperience working with Visual C++ at industrial level as well as database management in SQL Server. I also learn about Internet programming using ISAPI and ODBC drivers as well as telephony programming using TAPI. I also spend extra effort playing with registry programming for Win9x. It was really quite enjoyable.
I am very interested in Hardwares but like the above languages, I had no special training in them. I learn by trial and error and help many of my friends fix many problems. That is how I learned about hardwares. If you got any problem, do not hesite to mail me, it will be my pleasure to help you.
